In the near future, Earth faces imminent destruction as the sun expands into a red giant. The United Earth Government launches the Moving Mountain Project to relocate the planet using massive fusion engines. Zhe Zhi Zhou (Li Xue Jian), the Chinese delegation's diplomat, advocates for the Digital Life Project, which aims to transfer human consciousness into AI programs, challenging the planet-moving initiative.
