Qin Hai Lu is a celebrated Chinese actress, screenwriter and singer. Born on August 11, 1978, she spent 10 years starting from the age of 6 training at the Peking Opera School in Yingkou. She made her acting debut in the 2000 film “Durian Durian,” which garnered her the first of many Best New Performer and Best Actress awards throughout her successful career. Some of her recent award-winning roles include the films “The Piano in a Factory” (2011) and “Young Style” (2013), as well as the television dramas “Four Generations Under One Roof” (2012) and “Red Sorghum” (2014). Her recent television credits include the popular dramas “White Deer Plain” (2017) and “Only Side by Side With You” (2018). In addition to acting, Qin Hai Lu has released two music albums and made her directorial debut in 2017.
