Alex Lam is a singer and actor who was born in San Francisco, California, in the United States, on March 6, 1985. His father is the Hong Kong singer George Lam. He released his debut, self-titled solo album in 2012 and the same year also appeared in the rock music-themed film “Live in Flames.” He also played a starring role in the movie “My Wife Is a Superstar” in 2016, also appearing in the rock climbing-themed movie “Lion Rock” (2019).

Chu Kei (Annie Liu) is a struggling movie extra who cannot seem to catch a break. No matter how hard she tries, she invariably ends up getting fired from her low-paying jobs by short-tempered production staff and directors.

But she has a remarkable reversal of fortunes when movie studio owner Jeff Sin (Alex Lam) approaches her with an incredible offer: Turn her back on her foundering career as an extra and become the star of a brand-new blockbuster movie. The only catch is that she must promise not to date anyone…
