Benny Chan is a Hong Kong-born actor, model, and singer who was born on October 7, 1969. He studied at Lingnan University and debuted in 1994, when he began appearing in TV commercials. He went on to star as the Monkey King in the 1998 version of “Journey to the West II.” He also sang the theme song for the same title. He has since appeared in the dramas “The Legend of Crazy Monk” (2010), “Love Amongst War” (2012), and the 2019 remake of “Deadful Melody.”
