Annie Liu is a Taipei, Taiwan-born actress and model who was born on April 1, 1981. She studied at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada, majoring in Industrial Design. She made her acting debut in the 2005 movie “Mob Sister,” for which she was nominated in the Best New Performer category at the Hong Kong Film Awards. She has since starred in a number of drama and film titles, including the comedy film “My Wife Is a Superstar” in 2016 and “Invincible Dragon” (2019).

Chu Kei (Annie Liu) is a struggling movie extra who cannot seem to catch a break. No matter how hard she tries, she invariably ends up getting fired from her low-paying jobs by short-tempered production staff and directors.

But she has a remarkable reversal of fortunes when movie studio owner Jeff Sin (Alex Lam) approaches her with an incredible offer: Turn her back on her foundering career as an extra and become the star of a brand-new blockbuster movie. The only catch is that she must promise not to date anyone…

Growing up together, Chan Ka Sing (Vincent Wan Yeung Ming), Choi Kai Kwong (Wilson Lam), and Lee Yuk Lan were the best of friends. Nearly inseparable, they spent every free moment they had together, their carefree childhood days spent laughing and playing at the town’s old lighthouse. But as the friends grew, their relationship took a difficult turn, as both Ka Sing and Kai Kwong found themselves falling in love with Yuk Lan.&nbsp;

Forty-five years later, the former friends find themselves reunited after the passing of their beloved Yuk Lan. An answer slowly begins to present itself, after he meets his young son’s teacher, Miss Lai (Annie Liu).&nbsp;

As the winding string of fate connects the hearts and lives of those Yuk Lan left behind, old friends are reunited and new flames are ignited, proving that anything is possible when it comes to love.
