Cheng Pei Pei, affectionately known as the Queen of Swords, is an award-winning Chinese actress. She was born on January 6, 1946 in Shanghai, China, and made her acting debut in 1964. Best known for her role in a beloved 1966 wuxia film, she brought home the Hong Kong Film Awards “Best Supporting Actress” award in 2000 for her portrayal of Jade Fox in Ang Lee’s international smash, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” (2000). A skilled swordswoman and compelling actress, she has appeared in numerous films and television dramas over the course of her career, including “Flirting Scholar” (1993).

A young man gets the adventure of his life when he tries to save his sick aunt. Set in medieval China, Li Xiao Yao (Hu Ge) is a rough-and-tumble young man who is known as a troublemaker. When his aunt, who has raised him, falls ill, he is told to travel to a place called Dream Island to get the antidote. Convinced Chow Heung is his one true love, Pak Fu disguises himself as a servant and enters the employ of the House of Wah. The life of a servant is difficult, but Fate allows him to rise quickly through the ranks, providing him ample opportunity to woo Chow Heung, but his happiness is short-lived.&nbsp;

When the power-hungry Prince Ning visits the Wah family, things go very wrong. With his true identity revealed and the House of Wah on the brink of total annihilation, Pak Fu must confront one of his family’s greatest rivals or risk losing his one true love forever. Will Pak Fu be able to defeat his greatest foe and win Chow Heung’s hand in marriage or will this be the end of one of the world’s greatest scholars?
