Eric Tsang is a Hong Kong-born actor, movie director, and television personality. He began his professional career as a sports player and a stuntman before making his movie debut in the early 1970s, appearing in movies such as “The 14 Amazons” in 1972, as well as “Five Shaolin Masters” (1974). He is the long-term MC of the hit variety show “Super Trio Series,” which began airing in 1995, and has more recently appeared in the film “The Last Thieves” (2019).

Infamous thief Dan Cheung (Andy Lau) is caught and imprisoned after a heist goes wrong. When he receives new information about a job to steal precious jewels in Europe, he calls up his longtime partner Po Chen&nbsp;(Tony Yang), and new recruit to Red Ye (Shu Qi) to get the job done. Unable to resist the offer, they go in for the high-stakes heist. 

Unfortunately for them, famous French detective Pierre (Jean Reno), who has followed Cheung before, is still hot on their trail and starts a new game of cat and mouse across Europe.

Onion (Richie Ren) is a blind, mute hospital worker who has fallen for a nurse at the hospital named Autumn (Cecilia Cheung). One day, Onion plucks up the courage to ask Autumn to go out with him for a date.

She accepts, but the day ends in tragedy when he trips over in the street and falls into the path of a fast-moving car – which kills him instantly.

But the story does not end there. After dying, Onion learns that human souls are transported to Polaris – the North Star.
