Leslie Cheung was a Hong Kong-born singer and actor. He was born on September 12, 1956, in Kowloon, Hong Kong. He debuted in 1977, releasing the album “I Like Dreamin.’” He made his movie debut the next year with “Erotic Dream of the Red Chamber,” and went on to appear in scores of hit movie titles, including “Behind the Yellow Line” (1984), “Once a Thief” (1991), and “The Bride with White Hair” (1993). He died on April 1, 2003.
