Seven years after South Korea's first disastrous lunar mission, the nation attempts a second Moon landing. Astronaut Hwang Sun Woo (D.O) finds himself in grave danger when a sudden wind sends him hurtling across the lunar landscape, leaving him stranded and seemingly doomed. The national space center turns to its former managing director Kim Jae Guk (Sol Kung Gu), who was previously forced out after a controversial incident and now lives a quiet life in the mountains. Alongside space station director Yoon Moon Young (Kim Hae Ae), Kim Jae Guk must now use his expertise to guide Hwang Sun Woo to safety and prevent another tragic loss in space. With time running out and the astronaut's survival hanging in the balance, the team must work together to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges. The Moon

Tensions are high in 1933 Japan-occupied Korea, as an assassination attempt has just been made on the Japanese governor-general. The suspects? A Korean anti-Japanese resistance group known as the "Shadow Corps" that aims to overthrow Japanese colonial rule. The Japanese authorities suspect a member of the Shadow Corps, codenamed "Phantom," has infiltrated their ranks. Under the oppressive military regime of President Chun Doo Hwan in 1987, student activist Park Jong Chul is brutally tortured and killed for participating in pro-democracy protests.
