But unlike Monopoly, Blue Marble allows players to snap up properties all over the world in a bid to drive other players into “bankruptcy!” The game has undergone many transformations over the years, and has been adapted for mobile users. But it is about to undergo perhaps its most unique adaption of all! Male celebrity players will pair up with a “bro” – a teammate who will stick by their side as they try to win a “real-world scale” version of Blue Marble.

The contest will take place in Dubai, and contestants will be able to bid for the right to snap up remarkable UAE landmarks, including the 830-meter Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building! Entering the contest will be Lee Seung Gi, Yoo Yeon Seok, Lee Dong Hwi, Ji Suk Jin, Jo Se Ho, the Super Junior star Kyu Hyun, and the SEVENTEEN members Joshua and Hoshi. Four very different couples with very different problems, needs, and concerns face up to their worries and obstacles at the start of a brand new year.

Lee Min Jae (Im Siwan) is an ostensibly poor and defenseless university student who appears to be in urgent need of money in order to stay afloat. He comes to loan broker Jang Seok Goo (Jin Goo) and his violent right-hand man Park Ji Won (Park Byung Eun) looking for help. Jang Seok Goo sees himself as something of a modern-day Robin Hood, helping poor people get money from super-rich corporate banks using clever but fraudulent tactics. He agrees to help Lee Min Jae, dressing him up as an office worker and helping him falsify documents so he can secure a bank loan.

But Jang Seok Goo soon learns that Lee Min Jae is actually a talented scammer in his own right – and has duped him out of his brokerage fee with help from a budding young forger. Intrigued, he suggests that Lee Min Jae joins his operation as a loan broker. The latter agrees. But when the police come calling for Jang Seok Goo, Lee Min Jae finds himself pitted against Park Ji Won...who proves to be an altogether more ruthless opponent.

It is the third series of the nostalgia-themed “Reply” dramas that include “Reply 1997” (2012) and “Reply 1994” (2013), but the characters and stories are not related to the previous series.
