Park So Dam is an award-winning South Korean actress. Born on September 8, 1991, she began acting in 2013 in independent films. Her award-winning performances in the 2015 films “The Silenced” and “The Priests” helped her to gain mainstream stardom. She made her television acting debut in the 2015 drama special “Red Moon” and has since starred in “Because It’s the First Time” (2015) and “Cinderella and Four Knights” (2016).

Some deliveries are too hot for the post office to deal with. And that, thinks Mr. Baek (Kim Eui Sung), is where his unofficial “company” comes in. Although to the rest of the world, it seems that he runs a junkyard, this is actually an elaborate front: His engineers soup up ordinary-looking cars to make them run at breakneck speeds and disguise their real identity so nobody can trace the vehicles. Mr. Baek’s star driver is Jung Eun Ha (Park So Dam), who has a 100% record of delivering even the most difficult packages. 

But Jung Eun Ha is in for a shock when her latest delivery turns out to be a young boy (Jung Hyun Joon). With dreams of becoming the perfect ruler of Joseon, King Yeongjo (Song Kang Ho) aspires to greatness as he ascends the throne. Hoping his acts as king will wipe his tarnished background from the minds of the people, King Yongjo does all he can to lead his country well. Unwilling to follow his father’s orders, the King orders his son to be locked in a wooden rice chest and left in the palace courtyard to die a slow and agonizing death.&nbsp;

Inspired by one of the most notorious events in Korean history, “The Throne” is a 2015 historical drama film directed by Lee Joon Ik.
