Short-form dramas are taking the world by storm, and a new generation of South Korean directors are ready to deliver in this first-ever directorial survival show. Mentored by film director Lee Byeong Heon, actors Cha Tae Hyun and Jang Keun Suk, and comedian Jang Do Yeon, the contestants must capture the audience’s attention within two minutes – or risk elimination. Some people are out to find true love. Others are just in it for the money!

In a fun new reality survival series, 10 strangers live together for eight days under the same roof. Some of them are “love catchers,” who are looking for true love. But some are “money catchers,” who have entered the competition to win the prize money of 50 million won (approximately $44,600). In order to win the money, money catchers have to try to identify a love catcher to partner up with. If they end up choosing another money catcher, they are eliminated from the game. Love catchers have avoid falling for a money catcher in their quest for true love. 

TV personality Shin Dong Yup serves as the main host of the show, and he is joined by comedian Jang Do Yeon, mystery author Jeon Gun Woo, love expert Hong Suk Chun, singer Lady Jane, and NU’EST’s JR as commentators.

“We Got Married” is a popular South Korean reality series that pairs up celebrities in fake marriages and gives the couples tasks to complete. The series first launched in 2008, and many of the “married couples” have seen their popularity increase tremendously as a result of the show. Each season usually begins with four or five featured couples and some of the couples are replaced with new couples as the season progresses. The current featured couples include rapper Sleepy and comedian Lee Guk Joo; actors Gong Myung and Jung Hye Sung; and actor Choi Min Yong and comedian Jang Do Yeon.
