Kim Sejeong is a South Korean singer and actress. Born on August 28, 1996, she launched her career in music after coming in second place in the K-pop girl group survival reality show “Produce 101.” The top 11 finishers formed the girl group I.O.I, which disbanded in January 2017. Kim Sejeong became a member of the new girl group Gugudan in June 2016. She also served as host of the show “Talents for Sale” in 2016 and was named a permanent MC for the show “Get it Beauty” in January 2017. She made her acting debut in the 2017 television drama “School 2017,” which is the seventh installment in the popular “School” franchise.
