Park Hoon is a South Korean actor who was born on April 27, 1981, in Jeongseon County, South Korea. He studied at Paekche Institute of the Arts and made his movie acting debut in the 2008 film “Death Bell,” following up in 2010 with “Finding Mr. Destiny.” He first made his TV drama series acting mark with the 2015 title “Oh My Ghost,” and more recently has appeared in “Naked Fireman” (2017) and “Nobody Knows” (2020).

On December 12, 1979, South Korea’s president, Park Chung Hee was assassinated. Acting in direct defiance of Acting President Han Gyu (Jung Dong Hwan), Major General Chun Doo Gwang (Hwang Jung Min) and the officers who followed him, arrest General Jeong Sang Ho (Lee Sung Min), the Republic Of Korea’s Army Chief of Staff, on allegations of involvement in the late president’s murder, clearing the way for a national coup d'état.

Following the capture of General Jeong, an impressive military presence sets itself up in downtown Seoul in support of Major General Chun. Utterly appalled by Major General Chun’s grab for power, Commander Lee Tae Shin (Jung Woo Sung) of the Capital Garrison Command rallies forces to take a stand against Chun Doo Gwang.&nbsp;

Fighting against those trying to seize power, Commander Lee does everything he can to stop the insurrection. As tensions rise between the two groups, military leaders are called to action but nothing seems able to stop Chun Doo Gwang in his quest for power. Backed by powerful allies, will Chun’s grab for power ultimately pay off?

Detective Young Jin, from the regional investigation unit, has only one thing on her mind to solve as many criminal cases as possible as a way to atone for her friend's murder 19 years ago. Then one day, one of these criminal cases hits too close to home again. Her neighbor's son, Eun Ho, seems to have mysteriously fallen off the roof of a hotel and left in a coma. Ruled as an apparent suicide attempt by the authorities, Young Jin senses foul play and decides to take it upon herself to get to the bottom of it. With the help of Eun Ho's homeroom teacher, Sun Woo, they both begin to uncover that Eun Ho's injuries were no accident.

The nightmarish events 15 years ago still haunt Kim Young Koon – but his memories also provide no shortage of motivation.

Do Chi Gwang, meanwhile, has led a quest to uncover widespread corruption as part of his unswerving pursuit of justice – a quest that has won him few friends in the police force.

They are eventually joined by Han Tae Joo (Kim Hyun Joo), a former prosecutor who has become a lawyer.

When the captain of a Korean special forces unit, Yoo Shi Jin (Song Joong Ki), catches a thief on his day off alongside his friend and fellow soldier Seo Dae Young (Jin Goo), he has a chance encounter with a hospital trauma surgeon, Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo).

Although he immediately falls for her, Mo Yeon mistakenly believes Shi Jin is a part of the thief’s criminal gang, but after he proves the truth, they begin an unlikely relationship. Yet it doesn’t take long for the couple to realize they have conflicting views on human life – with Shi Jin having to kill to protect lives while Mo Yeon does everything she can to save them.

After they decide that these philosophical differences are too much to overcome, they decide to end their relationship and Shi Jin is deployed to the fictional war-torn country of Uruk. Some months later, Mo Yeon is put in the awkward position of rebuffing her hospital director’s advances.

As revenge, she is assigned to a team of medical volunteers who travel to Uruk, setting up a reunion with Shi Jin where they bond over their differences and discover how powerful love can be.
