Zhang Yi Xing is a Chinese singer, songwriter and actor. Born on October 7, 1991, he also is known by his stage name Lay as a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO and its subunit EXO-M. He landed his first acting role at the age of 6 and then won third place in the television talent competition show “Star Academy” in 2005. He debuted with EXO in 2012 and also has released a successful solo mini-album that shot to the top of the charts. Zhang Yi Xing has enjoyed a successful career in music, films and television series, including “The Mystic Nine” (2016) and “The Mystic Nine Tetralogy” (2016). He is considered one of the most popular and influential entertainers working in China today.

Drawn in by the prospect of a lucrative job offer, computer programmer Pan Sheng (Lay Zhang) gets on a plane with a group of other recruits to join an overseas gaming company. However, things are not as they seem: during a layover, Pan Sheng and the others are whisked away to an abandoned factory in the countryside, where they're imprisoned and forced to participate in cyber fraud schemes. Pan Sheng meets Liang An Na (Gina Jin), an aspiring model who was unwittingly recruited to help lure in potential victims. One of An Na's targets ends up addicted to the group's online gambling scheme, even attempting suicide after draining his savings. His girlfriend alerts the police, and dedicated police officer Zhao Dong Ran (Yong Mei) takes the case on, aiming to dismantle the operation and rescue the trapped workers.
