Zhang Yi Xing is a Chinese singer, songwriter and actor. Born on October 7, 1991, he also is known by his stage name Lay as a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group EXO and its subunit EXO-M. He landed his first acting role at the age of 6 and then won third place in the television talent competition show “Star Academy” in 2005. He debuted with EXO in 2012 and also has released a successful solo mini-album that shot to the top of the charts. Zhang Yi Xing has enjoyed a successful career in music, films and television series, including “The Mystic Nine” (2016) and “The Mystic Nine Tetralogy” (2016). He is considered one of the most popular and influential entertainers working in China today.
