Kim Tae Ri is a South Korean actress. Born on April 24, 1990, she began her career in modeling and theater productions and in 2014. She made her feature film debut in the 2016 critically acclaimed Park Chan Wook film “The Handmaiden,” beating out 1,500 other actresses for the role and bringing her numerous Best New Actress awards. She also has appeared in the film “Little Forest” (2018) and the television drama “Mr. Sunshine” (2018).

Ean (Kim Tae Ri) has become stuck in the past, searching for the Divine Blade, the only item that can open the gates of time. But she is not alone in her quest, as blind swordsman Neung Pa (Jin Seon Kyu) also hunts for the blade. Time is quickly running out, though, as back in the “future,” an escaped alien prisoner is ready to unleash chaos on the world. Ean must gain control of the Divine Blade fast – and save the future world from doom! This 2024 South Korean movie is the follow-up to “Alienoid” and was directed by Choi Dong Hoon.

Alienoid: Return to the Future

When a spacecraft appears, creating a portal between times, Guard and his companions are suddenly transported to the past, confronting unexpected challenges. The race for the Divine Blade intensifies as an evil alien mastermind prepares to make a decisive move. With time-bending stakes and multiple factions in pursuit, the ultimate showdown becomes a battle between good and evil across different eras. This is a 2022 South Korean sci-fi action film directed by Choi Dong Hoon.

When is a&nbsp;life decision considered a choice, rather than giving up?

Hye Won (Kim Tae Ri) left her home in the countryside to go to the big city and make something of herself. But when she can’t land a job as a teacher and also strikes out with a relationship, she decides to forget her big-city dreams and return to her rural hometown.

While reconnecting with her friends, Jae Ha (Ryu Jun Yeol) and Eun Sook (Jin Ki Joo), Hye Won also finds little joys in food and the beauty of living in close harmony with nature. Can her happiness be measured using a different standard?

“Little Forest” is a 2018 South Korean film directed by Yim Soon Rye. It is based on the popular manga series by the same title written and illustrated by Daisuke Igarashi.

Under the oppressive military regime of President Chun Doo Hwan in 1987, student activist Park Jong Chul is brutally tortured and killed for participating in pro-democracy protests. Anti-communist investigation Director Park Cheo Won (Kim Yoon Seok) orders the body cremated to cover up evidence, but Prosecutor Choi Hwan (Ha Jung Woo) refuses to approve the order. When the autopsy reveals the real cause of death, Prosecutor Choi is fired, but he informs journalist Yoon Sang Sam (Lee Hee Joon) about the truth. To try and suppress the case, Director Park has detectives, including Jo Han Kyung (Park Hee Soon), take the fall. While in prison, detective Jo shares the truth with prison guard Han Byung Yong (Yoo Hai Jin), who must find a way to convince his niece Yeon Hee (Kim Tae Ri) to relay the information to an opposition politician. This film was based on the true events leading up to the 1987 June Democratic Uprising.
