Patrick Shih is a Taiwanese actor. Born on August 9, 1996, he made his acting debut in the 2016 television drama “Golden Darling.” He also has appeared in the dramas “A Good Day” (2016) and “HIStory 2” (2018).

Huang Yu Xuan (Alice Ke) is a woman who appears to be living a very fulfilled life. Married to a wealthy man, she is pregnant, and looks forward to building a happy family. But everything changes when she has an accident and falls into a coma. Li Zi Wei (Greg Han), a young man who thinks she may be someone else, comes forward with a cassette tape that he claims could help Huang Yu Xuan recover. Her husband agrees to let her listen to it.

But the tape appears to have special powers – and sends Huang Yu Xuan on a journey through time. She finds that she is actually living in a series of bizarre time loops that also involves Li Zi Wei and another young man named Mo Jun Jie (Patrick Shih). In these time loops, Huang Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei meet again and again – sometimes “reborn” as totally different people. An Yi (Zhou Yi Ran) is an assistant architect who works in Beijing, China. The reclusive Gao Ang (Patrick Shih) works as a piano tuner in Germany. One day, a freak accident somehow links their brain waves. Even though they have never met, suddenly they can communicate with each other by telepathy. Moreover, they feel the very same sensations as one another. For example, if one of them stubs their toe, the other one feels the pain just as sharply.

At first, they cannot stand having someone else in their “brain” with them – and sometimes go out of their way to cause pain to the other. But after a while, they start to support one another. When An Yi feels ill, Gao Ang tries to soothe her pain. When she needs to impress people by playing the piano in public, he steps in to help. She, in turn, tries to help Gao Ang come out of his shell. A bond begins to form between them. But what happens when the connection threatens to break? Can they really go back to being “alone” in their own heads again? And what would happen if they actually met in real life?

“HIStory 2” is a 2018 Taiwanese web dramas series that explores the issues of right and wrong in love. It comprises two separate stories cover four episodes each: “HIStory: Right or Wrong” and “HIStory: Boundary Crossing.” The series was preceded by “HIStory 1” in 2017.
