Kim Sung Cheol is a South Korean actor. Born on December 31, 1991, he made his acting debut in the 2017-2018 television drama “Prison Playbook.” He also has appeared in the film “Rose of Betrayal” (2018) and the television drama “To. Jenny” (2018).

Partially blind, Kyung Soo (Ryu Jun Yeol) struggles to see during the day, but his skill as an acupuncturist has earned him the attention of the palace. Recognized for his talent by Lee Hyung Ik (Choi Moo Sung), Kyung Soo is extended an invitation to work in the palace alongside the royal physician of King Injo (Yoo Hae Jin). Unable to refuse such an offer, Kyung Soo happily accepts, unwittingly setting himself on a dark and dangerous path.

Not long after accepting his position at the palace, Crown Prince Sohyeon (Kim Sung Cheol), who was taken hostage by the Qing Dynasty eight years ago, returns home. The year is 1950, and much of South Korea has fallen to invading armies from the North.

Southern forces, in conjunction with the American military, are planning an audacious bid to recapture the port of Incheon from the sea.

However, the allied generals believe that if they are to be successful in Incheon, they will need a diversion – to draw North Korean forces away from the heavily defended port.

The allied military hatches a plan.
