As the wife of an indifferent yet ambitious husband, Yoo I Hwa (Kim Seo Hyung) lives a comfortable enough life. But with a husband who spends more time at work than with her, she often finds herself wondering if this is all life has to offer.&nbsp;

With a life that’s beginning to feel rather empty, I Hwa decides it’s time to do something for herself. Taking a job as a contract employee at a savings bank, I Hwa gradually begins to regain her confidence. However, as her confidence grows, so does her ambition. No longer satisfied with her meager existence, I Hwa decides to take a step in a very dangerous direction as she begins to embezzle money from the bank’s VIP customers.

Adapted from the novel of the same name by Mitsuyo Kakuta, “Pale Moon” is a 2023 South Korean crime suspense drama directed by Yoo Jong Seon and Jung Won Hee.

A man with a special power meets a woman who is unaffected by it.

Moon Joon Woo (Kim Hyun Joong) has the ability to stop time. He leads a lonely existence due to his special ability. 

When he needs a place to live, Joon Woo rents a basement apartment in an old building. His new landlord is Kim Sun Ah (An Ji Hyun), who despite being hardworking and a building owner is still financially struggling because all of her money is going to pay off her father’s debt.

Joon Woo is surprised to discover that when he stops time, Sun Ah is unaffected by it and is able to freely move around and “live.” Will Sun Ah give Joon Woo a new appreciation of time and his fluid life?

“When Time Stopped” is a 2018 Korean drama series. It is Kim Hyun Joong’s comeback drama after “Inspiring Generation” in 2014.
