Karen Mok is the stage name of Karen Joy Morris, a celebrated Hong Kong singer and actress. She was on June 2, 1970, to a father who is half-Chinese and half-Welsh and a mother who is half-Chinese, a quarter-Iranian and a quarter-German. Her brother is Trevor Morris, a writer and producer, and her grandfather is Alfred Morris, the first principal of Kings College in Hong Kong. Karen Mok’s successful career includes three Golden Melody Awards, more than 20 solo CDs, and many film and television credits. Some of the recent credits include the films “The Great Hypnotist” (2014) and “A Chinese Odyssey Part Three” (2016). She married Johannes Natterer in 2011.
