BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group under YG Entertainment. The four-member group, consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, made their debut on August 8, 2016, with the release of their single album, “Square One”. The two lead singles, “Whistle” and “Boombayah” charted at numbers one and two on the “Billboard” World Digital Songs chart and won the group the record for the most-viewed debut music video by a Korean act.
