Bae Jung Hwa is a South Korean actress who was born on January 14, 1985. She studied Theater and Film at Dongguk University’s Seoul Campus and made her screen acting debut in the 2013 movie “El Condor Pasa.” She followed up with a role in the movie “An American Friend” in 2014, and made her small-screen bow in the 2017 drama series “Voice.” More recently, she has appeared in the series titles “Rumor” (2019) and “Tell Me What You Saw” (2020).

Working as a member of the regional investigation unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, Detective Lee Hwa Sun’s (Kim Ok Bin) life has never been easy. A widow, whose husband was brutally murdered, Hwa Sun has dedicated her life to helping others, despite the fact that the mystery behind her own husband's death remains unsolved. Trying her best to move forward, Hwa Sun’s life is turned upside down the day she receives a phone call from her husband’s killer.

Go Hwan (Ryu Deok Hwan) is a young man who has Lou Gehrig’s disease. They smuggle him out of the hospital where he has been since the disastrous marathon attempt and take him on a day out to the beach. The trio has a blast by the seaside, but when they return, Go Hwan’s mother is worried that the outing has worsened his health.

Back in the hospital, Go Hwan reveals his last wish to his two friends: He has never had sex in his life and does not want to die “a boy” – but face his death as a “man.” He pleas with his friends to help him have sex with a woman before time runs out.
