Park Hae Il

In 1592, Korea faces a devastating sea invasion by the Japanese navy, with General Wakisaka (Byun Yo Han) seeking a decisive battle to control the peninsula. The wounded Korean Admiral Yi Sun Shin (Park Hae Il) stands as the only hope to repel the invaders. Hansan: Rising Dragon

Choi Hyun (Park Hae Il), a South Korean professor living in Beijing, returns to his homeland after a childhood friend's death and visits Gyeongju, a city filled with nostalgic memories. At a café, he encounters Yoon Hee (Shin Min Ah), the new owner who has covered an erotic artwork he once admired. As Hyun and Yoon Hee develop an unexpected friendship, the arrival of his former college flame Yeo Jung (Yoon Jin Seo) further complicates their connection. Their interactions explore themes of memory, chance encounters, and the lingering echoes of past experiences. This is a 2014 South Korean movie directed by Zhang Lu.

Through a series of unfortunate events, three adult siblings all find themselves returning home to live with their mother (Youn Yuh Jung): eldest Han Mo (Yoon Je Moon), an unemployed ex-gangster with a criminal record; middle child In Mo (Park Hae Il), a failed film director whose wife left him; and youngest Mi Yeon (Kong Hyo Jin), a twice-divorced woman with a teenage daughter named Min Kyung (Jin Ji Hee). Tensions soon begin to rise among the newly-reunited family members as old conflicts return to the surface and new problems exacerbate their issues. Can they manage to overcome their problems and re-establish a familial relationship? The film is based on the novel "Modern Family" by Cheon Myeong Kwan.

Lee Jeok Yo (Park Hae Il), a well respected poet and college professor in his 70s, has long been a source of mentorship and inspiration to his assistant and student Seo Ji Woo (Kim Mu Yeol) who hopes to follow in his footsteps as a poet and writer. However, their relationship, built on years of trust and admiration, begins to fracture with the arrival of 17-year-old high schooler Han Eun Gyo (Kim Go Eun), who suddenly appears on the doorsteps of the professor's home. After hiring her as a part-time housekeeper, Jeok Yo becomes captivated by Eun Gyo, even writing an erotic short story fueled by his newfound lust, much to Ji Woo's disdain and irrational jealousy. This film was adapted from Park Bum Shin’s novel of the same name.

When his mother suddenly takes her own life, her shop is taken over by Bu Ja (Yum Jung Ah), who happens to be a single mother. Despite the age difference, Ne Mo falls in love with Bu Ja. However, tragedy strikes when a fire breaks out and Ne Mo sacrifices himself to save Bu Ja's son. Upon arriving in the afterlife, Ne Mo finds himself in a conundrum – the angels can't decide if he was supposed to die yet or not. In a compromise, Ne Mo returns to the living world in the body of a thirty-three year old man, but only for 60 days, and for every day he lives, he will age a year. Determined to make the most of his limited time, he sets out to win Bu Ja's heart.

Bae Ne Mo

Seong Woo (Lee Eol) is the lead singer and guitarist of the Waikiki Brothers, a struggling band that mainly performs in nightclubs. With his bandmates, the keyboardist Jeong Seok (Park Won Sang) and the drummer Kang Su (Hwang Jung Min), he heads back to his hometown. The group finds work here. But Woo also finds himself reunited with some of his former high school friends. These include In Hui (Oh Ji Hye), his now-widowed first love, as well as some of the people he first started his musical career with. Will this journey down memory lane prove too difficult for the Waikiki Brothers – or could it grant the group a new lease of life? This 2001 South Korean movie was directed by Yim Soon Rye.
