Paul Yu is a Chinese singer, TV personality, and actor who was born on July 3, 1991. He made his debut as part of Chinese pop group M4M in 2013. He has appeared in a number of variety and reality TV titles, including “Idol Producer: Season 1” (2018). He later branched out into acting, appearing in drama series titles such as “The Untamed” (2019) and “Return the World to You” (2019). He also made his big-screen debut in 2019, appearing in the movie “The Living Dead.”

During the reign of Emperor Taizong, a baby girl by the name of Kudi Liu Li (Gülnezer Bextiyar) was born. Liu Li was also born with an innate talent for embroidery, but her mother, known as “Number One Needle in the World,” knew the dangers that such skills would bring, and warned that she must never touch needle and thread. While on his travels, a young man named Wen Ning (Paul Yu) comes across a mysterious town named Fu Feng. The town’s inhabitants live in perpetual fear of malevolent spirits who – so they say – are attracted to candle and lantern light at night time.

A spate of killings has taken place after dark, too, leaving the town’s residents shaken and in a state of desperation.

Their sense of dread leads them to live in darkness after nightfall, for fear of what might happen should they light a fire.

Determined to break the spell, the fearless Wen Ning purposefully lights a lamp in the dead of night, hoping to confront the evil spirits and fight them off.

But just as the shadowy forces are drawing near, his old acquaintance and brother-in-arms Lan Si Zhui (Zheng Fan Xing) appears on the scene, hoping to lend a hand.

Together, Lan Si Zhui and Wen Ning resolve to fight back against the forces of darkness – and rescue the town from the clutches of evil supernatural forces.

This movie is a spinoff of the series “The Untamed.” The series was based on the popular novel “Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation,” which was penned by BL author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu.

Campus couple and budding young designers Yi En (Gülnezer Bextiyar) and Qi Lei (Yang Shou) decide to set up a fashion label together when they finish university.

Despite some early success, the couple’s partnership appears to have been cut tragically short, when the scheming of a ruthless rival appears to cause the death of Qi Lei.

The grieving Yi En refuses to give up on the dream she once shared with her sweetheart, and – though her talent, hard work, and dedication – eventually succeeds in building up a powerful fashion company.

What Yi En does not know, however, is that Qi Lei is not dead after all. The “accident” that appeared to have taken his life actually only left him badly wounded.

Once he recovers, he takes up the moniker Lu Zhun and returns to the fashion world, looking for answers and revenge. He is appointed as the head of a successful fashion company – and finds himself in direct competition with his former girlfriend and business partner Yi En.

In the meantime, another figure from Yi En’s past – her childhood friend and fellow fashion designer Qin Ye (Jeremy Tsui) – has appeared on the scene, intent on winning her heart.

And in a further unfortunate twist of fate for Yi En, her closest friend and the editor-in-chief of an influential fashion magazine, Cen Wei, (Zhao Han Ying Zi) now has romantic designs on Lu Zhun.

Will romantic rivals win the day, or could love bring Yi En and Lu Zhun/Qi Lei back together? Would reigniting their old love for one another really be enough to reverse their destiny? Or will the pressures of life at the top of the Chinese fashion industry take its toll on their romance…and the dreams they once shared?
