Xing Jia Dong is a Chinese actor who was born on July 1, 1972, in Taiyuan, China. He studied at the Beijing Film Academy, and first made a name for himself in the 2006 drama series “Soldiers Sortie.” He made his movie bow in 2016’s “Three Body,” and has since gone on to star in hit film titles such as “Extraordinary Mission” (2017) and the drama series “Airborne Blade” (2019).

In Shanghai, China, in the early 20th century, a few wealthy families have risen to wield enormous power and influence. Many of them, like the conniving Rong family, have risen to the very top, and are guilty of abusing their position to realize great financial and societal gains. Now the Rong family is looking for a tutor to help teach their son Rong Jia Shang (Timmy Xu) and his two sisters. In Beijing, Li Hui Yan (Duan Yi Hong) is a perpetually broke but sharp-witted police detective who lives in squalor with his elementary school-age son.
