Nam Moon Chul is a South Korean actor who was born on March 20, 1971. He first made a name for himself with a role in the 2007 drama series “Conspiracy in the Court,” following up with his movie bow in “Missing” (2009). He has since appeared in a wide range of film and drama titles, including the movie “The King’s Letters” in 2019 and the series “Live” (2018).

To Il (Krystal Jung) didn’t have the happiest of childhoods. At the age of five, her mother remarried, forcing To Il to leave the only home she had ever known. Uprooted from Daegu, To Il had no choice but to start a new life, with a new father, in a new city. While adjusting to life in Seoul took time, To Il eventually came to accept the new and things slowly settled into place.&nbsp;

Now a university student, To Il is starting to create a life of her own. Working as a private tutor, to help pay her way through school, To Il is happy with the way her life has turned out. But things take an unexpected turn when she finds herself falling for Ho Hoon (Shin Jae Hwi), a nineteen year old boy who just happens to be one of her tutoring students. As if falling for one of her students didn’t make life complicated enough, it doesn’t take To Il long to discover that she is pregnant with Ho Hoon’s child.

Keeping her pregnancy a secret for a long as possible, To Il eventually has to tell her mother and stepfather the truth. Their less-than-happy reaction to the news convinces To Il her only option is to set out in search of her birth father. While she searches for a man she barely remembers, Ho Hoon disappears, leaving To Il’s stepfather no choice but to set out in search of him. With so many searches happening at once, will To Il be able to find that for which she’s been most desperately searching?

The aging King Sejong the Great (Song Kang Ho), dreams of sparking an intellectual revolution in his country. His plan is to develop a script so straightforward and easy to read that even peasants could learn to read it.

Spurred on by the quick-witted Queen Sohun (Jeon Mi Sun), Sejong embarks on an ambitious quest to realize his dream – and help his country move out of China’s shadow, with a move he says “would take China 1,000 years to achieve.”

When his informant is brutally murdered, police officer Won Ho (Jo Jin Woong) vows to find the killer.

He meets a woman named Oh Yeon Ok (Kim Sun Ryung), who tells him that the man behind the murder is a mysterious drug cartel boss known in the underworld as “Mr. Lee.”

She goes on to explain that Mr. Lee is one of the most dangerous people in the world, and says that he is known to guard his identity carefully.

This same Mr. Lee, she adds, attempted to kill her by blowing up a building. Won Ho visits the scene of the crime and finds a man he believes to be a member of Mr. Lee’s gang – a man named Rak (Ryu Jun Yeol).

Rak agrees to help Won Ho after the latter hatches a plan to set up a drug deal that will hopefully flush Mr. Lee out into the open.

But tracking down the “real” Mr. Lee becomes harder than Won Ho initially thought – as several crooks have already begun using Mr. Lee’s alias to conduct their own nefarious deals.

Can Won Ho discover the identity of the country’s most infamous drug lord?

This movie is based on the 2012 film “Drug War.”
