Seo Hyun Woo is a South Korean actor who was born on November 20, 1983, in Busan, South Korea. He studied at the Korea National University of Arts, and made his movie bow in “White” (2011), following up with his major drama series debut in the 2016 series “The Royal Gambler.” More recently, he has appeared in the films “Believer” (2018) and “Ashfall” (2019).

One Day Off

A man (Yoon Kye Sang) regains consciousness after being involved in a traffic accident. He has no idea who he is or how he came to be in the accident, but finds he has a gunshot wound and is dressed in a designer suit. The moment he sees his reflection, he is convinced he is trapped inside another person’s body. He also begins to suspect that whoever he is now, this body belongs to someone linked to the underworld. But he has very little time to dwell on the matter – after 12 hours, at midday, he wakes up in another person’s body. This happens again, at midnight.

Eventually, he realizes that he will “switch” bodies again after 12 more hours have passed. And each time he changes, he gets the feeling that someone is pursuing him no matter who he becomes. He also starts to realize that a woman named Moon (Lim Jin Yeon) may hold the key to his true identity. But as the pressure begins to mount, he begins to worry that the violent world of gangland crime may eventually swallow him – and Moon – whole.

Jung Ji Woo (Sung Joon) is a web-based cartoon (webtoon) artist whose debut title fell flat. He is dating Da Hye (Kim Bo Ra) and the two are looking forward to spending his birthday together. But Jung Ji Woo is determined to ensure that his follow-up effort fares better than his first, so decides to look for some “real-world” inspiration. He has heard talk that a nearby apartment block named Gwang Lim Mansion is haunted, and that terrible incidents have occurred there, so decides to investigate. When he arrives, he runs into the apartment block’s ex-caretaker (Kim Hong Fa). The latter agrees to let Jung Ji Woo interview him, and the man starts to tell a series of increasingly macabre and spooky tales of things that happened to the block’s former residents.

He begins by telling Jung Ji Woo the story of a tormented author who craves peace and quiet, but can never seem to escape the noise. There is also the story of a pharmacist and her sordid affair with a married woman – a story that ends in mystery and murder! Further, there is the story of a property agent whose companion, a doll, appears to have come to life! Two students living together then find themselves living in an increasingly rotten room. And finally, the final story centers around the caretaker himself – and his ghastly secret identity. Will the horror overwhelm Jung Ji Woo, or will a late intervention from Da Hye save the day?

When he begins to suspect that she may not be who she claims to be, and could somehow be involved in his wife’s death, a web of mysteries slowly begins to untangle...

When his informant is brutally murdered, police officer Won Ho (Jo Jin Woong) vows to find the killer.

He meets a woman named Oh Yeon Ok (Kim Sun Ryung), who tells him that the man behind the murder is a mysterious drug cartel boss known in the underworld as “Mr. Lee.”

She goes on to explain that Mr. Lee is one of the most dangerous people in the world, and says that he is known to guard his identity carefully.

This same Mr. Lee, she adds, attempted to kill her by blowing up a building. Won Ho visits the scene of the crime and finds a man he believes to be a member of Mr. Lee’s gang – a man named Rak (Ryu Jun Yeol).

Rak agrees to help Won Ho after the latter hatches a plan to set up a drug deal that will hopefully flush Mr. Lee out into the open.

But tracking down the “real” Mr. Lee becomes harder than Won Ho initially thought – as several crooks have already begun using Mr. Lee’s alias to conduct their own nefarious deals.

Can Won Ho discover the identity of the country’s most infamous drug lord?

Yoon Seol Hee (Kim Hee Ae) is a powerful businesswoman from a hugely wealthy family. One day, she dies very unexpectedly, and to add to the intrigue, the body vanishes from the morgue shortly after. Woo Jung Sik (Kim Sang Kyung), a once-brilliant but now ostensibly washed-up detective with a past shrouded in mystery is assigned to the case. Suspicion begins to fall on the woman’s widower Park Jin Han (Kim Kang Woo), a university professor who has been secretly having an affair with Hye Jin (Han Ji An), one of his students.

Although the evidence suggesting that Park Jin Han played a part in his wife’s death is at first very slim, Woo Jung Sik seems to have a hunch that the professor was somehow involved. As the investigation, the plot thickens – never more so than when Park Jin Han starts receiving text messages...from his “dead wife.”
