Wang Xun is a Chinese actor, screenwriter, and director. He was born on November 27, 1974 in Wuhou, Sichuan, China and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 1992. In 2006, he starred in his first big-screen film and has appeared in numerous variety shows, films, and television dramas since, including “Detective Chinatown 2” (2018).

Once a champion MMA fighter, Xiang Teng Hui (Wang Bao Qiang) has all but given up on his life in the ring. Down on his luck, Teng Hui might have walked away from his past life entirely but a chance run-in with a gang of young hooligans unexpectedly changes everything.

Seeing the potential in the youngsters who accosted him, Teng Hui decides to take them under his wing. Setting up a makeshift training facility, Teng Hui recruits a small group of underprivileged children to join him in training for the ring. Coming from the remote corners of the countryside, these children have no hope of a better life. Happy to have even the smallest glimmer of hope for a brighter future, the children agree to join Teng Hui. Despite the rigors of training, the children and their coach develop a close bond, but everything comes crashing down when the ghosts of Teng Hui’s past life return to haunt him.

With the children’s future now hopelessly entangled in a complicated web of past mistakes and current repercussions, Teng Hui finds himself in an impossible situation. Unwilling to walk away from the children who now mean so much to him, will Teng Hui be able to find a way to train his students without passing along the stigma of his unsavory past?
