Yang Xiao is a Chinese actor, screenwriter, and director. He was born on April 7, 1980 in Hebei, China and made his acting debut in 2013. Since then, he has appeared in various films and television dramas, including “Detective Chinatown 2” (2018). He made his screenwriting and directorial debut in 2018.

The young, straight-laced and highly analytical Chinese detective Qin Feng (Liu Hao Ran) has been forced into an uneasy partnership with his polar opposite, the noisy and hyperactive Thai investigator Tang Ren (Wang Bao Qiang).

After investigating cases in Bangkok and New York, they have now been sent to Tokyo, Japan, where they must get to the bottom of an unusual crime.

After the sudden murder of a Japanese mafia kingpin, the chief suspect is one of his rivals, a cool, calculated man named Watanabe (Miura Tomokazu).

But Watanabe claims he is innocent of the crime, and wants the detective duo to help him clear his name.

It’s been seventeen years since Li Wei Jie (Yang Xiao) decided to leave his native homeland and make a new life for himself and his young family in Thailand. The move wasn’t easy, nor was adapting to a whole new way of life, but Wei Jie and his wife, Ayu (Tan Zhuo), never gave up and from their labor came great rewards. Hoping to protect his family from the swift retribution of the law, Wei Jie uses his vast knowledge of detective films to match wits with Lawan (Chen Chong), the vengeful Chief of Police who just happens to be Suchat’s mother. A thick and seemingly endless mist has descended on a major Chinese city, spreading misery and despair among the residents who dream of gusts of cold wind that will finally break the clouds and grant them respite.
