Bang Si Hyuk is a South Korean music producer, songwriter, and talent agency owner who was born on August 9, 1972. He studied at Seoul National University and worked with fellow songwriter and talent agency founder Park Jin Young, helping to write and produce hits for K-pop acts like g.o.d, Baek Ji Young, and the Wonder Girls. In 2005, he founded Big Hit Entertainment, the talent agency behind global chart-topping K-pop act BTS. He has also appeared on TV shows, including “I-LAND” in 2020.
