Eric Kwok is a Hong Kong-born singer, songwriter, and actor who was born on February 3, 1974. He graduated from the Department of Communication at the University of California, Los Angeles after moving to the United States as a teenager. He returned to Hong Kong and wrote a 1997 song for the singer Leon Lai Ming. He later went on to become a successful solo artist in his own right, also appearing in the comedy film “My Wife Is a Superstar” in 2016.

Chu Kei (Annie Liu) is a struggling movie extra who cannot seem to catch a break. No matter how hard she tries, she invariably ends up getting fired from her low-paying jobs by short-tempered production staff and directors.

But she has a remarkable reversal of fortunes when movie studio owner Jeff Sin (Alex Lam) approaches her with an incredible offer: Turn her back on her foundering career as an extra and become the star of a brand-new blockbuster movie. The only catch is that she must promise not to date anyone…
