Cindy Yen, born Cindy Wu, is a Taiwanese-American singer, songwriter, actress, composer, and producer. She was born on November 14, 1986 in Houston, Texas, United States, and moved to Taiwan in hopes of becoming a recording artist, in 2008. Singing with JVR Music in 2009, she released her first solo album later that same year. In 2011, she made her acting debut, taking her first role in a television drama. The following year, she made her film acting debut and has appeared in a variety of films and television dramas since, including “The Beauty” (2016), “Memory Love” (2017), and “Between” (2018).
