Shin Ju Hwan is a South Korean actor who was born on July 28, 1986. He studied at Konkuk University and first made a name for himself in the acting world in the mid-2010s, featuring in the movie “Fashion King” in 2014. He went on to appear in the hit dramas “The Producers” (2015) and 2016’s hit “Cheese in the Trap.” He has since gone on to appear in “Arthdal Chronicles” (2019) and the film “0.0 Mhz” (2019). He played the barista in the titular bar in “Cafe Midnight” (2020) and the sequel “Midnight Cafe 2: Hip Up Hit Up” (2021).

Nestled in the heart of Busan’s bustling tourist district, sits an unassuming little café with a very unique twist. Not found on any map, this very special café offers visitors a space of healing and growth; but only if you can find it, and only if you visit during its rather unusual hours. Unlike any of the neighboring shops, which welcome visitors throughout the day, the Midnight Café opens its doors at midnight and only remains open until dawn. Managed by a mysterious man, known only as Master (Shin Ju Hwan), the Midnight Café welcomes all who pass through its doors.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Jae Young (Song Won Yeob) is down on his luck. He needs money, but he has just been fired from his job at a convenience store. He desperately wants to find another job, but is constantly frustrated in his efforts. But he thinks his luck may have changed when he sees a flyer advertising for a part-time post. The flyer explains that he must apply in person, so he follows the directions – and ends up at a strange cafe on a mountainside road, which doesn’t even show up on any maps and is only open from midnight until sunrise. When he arrives, the owner (Shin Ju Hwan) offers him a job as a barista. Jae Young hesitates, but the owner tells him that if he doesn’t take the job there and then, he will never have the chance again. Jae Young takes the job.

But when he starts working at the cafe, things start getting bizarre. A girl Jae Young has been friends with (and had a crush on for a long time) – Mi Na (Park Shi Woo) – comes by, but doesn’t seem to recognize him. And a woman he’s never met before named Na Young (Woo Da Vi) visits...and claims to be his ex-girlfriend. And to top it all off, the cafe’s clientele all appear to either come from the past – or the future!
