Dante Basco is an American actor who was born on August 29, 1975, in Pittsburg, California, in the United States. He began acting at a young age, appearing as a child star in the Michael Jackson movie “Moonwalker” in 1988. Also in 1988, he made a series of appearances in the long-running TV shows “Santa Barbara” and “The Wonder Years.” He is arguably best-known as a voice actor, however, and voiced the character Prince Zuko in three “Avatar: The Last Airbender” gaming titles in the mid-2000s. He also played Rufio, the leader of the Lost Boys in the Steven Spielberg movie “Hook” (1991), and more recently starred in the film “Empty by Design” in 2019.
