Danny Glover is an American actor and activist who was born on July 22, 1946, in San Francisco, California. He graduated from the American Conservatory Theater and made his acting debut in 1979, appearing in the TV series “B.J. and the Bear,” as well as the movie “Escape from Alcatraz,” where he starred alongside Clint Eastwood. He shot to fame when he played the character Roger Murtaugh in the movie “Lethal Weapon” in 1987 – a film that spawned three sequels that he also starred in, alongside Mel Gibson. He was also the protagonist in the movie “Predator 2” (1990), and appeared in the films “Angels in the Outfield” (1994) and “Operation Dumbo Drop” (1995) – as well as the more recent “Jumanji: The Next Level” (2019).
