Huynh Lap, born Huynh Ngoc Lap, is an award-winning Vietnamese actor, director and screenwriter. He was born on May 17, 1993, in Long Xuyen, An Giang, Vietnam, and made his acting debut in 2012. Since then, he has appeared in a variety of films and television dramas, including “Blind Shaman” (2019).

Once a shaman of great spiritual power, Tinh Lam (Huynh Lap) used to be a man able to take on the evil forces of the world. Now stricken by a mysterious blindness, Tinh Lam has not only lost his eyesight, but the bulk of his power. With very few options before him, Tinh Lam is forced to begin a quest to recover both.

Setting out on a journey to recover his precious gifts, Tinh Lam is soon met by a wide variety of characters, all of which teach him a multitude of important lessons about life. As Tinh Lam slowly begins to understand that there is so much more to life than he originally believed, the true meaning of life is gradually revealed to him. As his journey continues, he happens to stumble upon a truth that could very well change everything.

Uncovering the plot of another wicked shaman, Tinh Lam soon begins to question whether there might be more to his blindness than mere chance. Could something or someone be behind his current condition? And if so, who will join him on his quest to uncover the truth?
