Yesung, born Kim Jong Woon, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, radio personality, and actor. He was born in Seoul, South Korea, on August 24, 1984, and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2005 as a member of the idol group, Super Junior. In 2006, he debuted as a member of the group’s subunit, Super Junior - K.R.Y. and began hosting his first radio program, “M.I.R.A.C.L.E for You”. In 2007, he made his debut as an actor, taking his first minor role in a film and in 2009, he made his theatrical debut. In 2015, he took his first role in a television drama and has appeared in a variety of films, theatrical productions, television reality programs and dramas since, including “The Girl on a Bulldozer” (2021).
