Zhao Huan Ran is a Chinese actor who was born on June 25, 1997, in Heilongjiang Province, China. He made his debut in the drama series sequel “Long For You 2” (2018) and also appeared in the hit series “Meteor Garden” (2018). More recently, he starred in “Professional Single” (2020), as well as “If the Voice Has Memory” and “Don’t Be Shy” (both 2022).

Mu Zhuo Hua (Jing Tian) is the seventh daughter of the richest man in Jiangnan. But as her mother was a concubine, she is considered “illegitimate.” Her family has planned out her destiny, and wants her to marry a man of their choosing. But she has no intention of bowing to their wishes, and decides to carve a different path for herself. She takes her province’s civil service examination, and gets relatively good grades. She thinks she can do better, so moves to the capital. She thinks that marriage would be disastrous for her, and sees academic success – and a government position – as her way out of this.

But while she is in the capital, she meets a general named Liu Yan (Feng Shao Feng). The latter’s reputation was previously second-to-none. But after suffering a defeat in battle, he is feeling aggrieved and hankers for justice. The duo forms an uneasy alliance, each thinking that they can use the other to achieve their own goals. But as they begin to spend more time together, a closer bond forms – could Cupid step in...and help them make their dreams come true?

After her father dies, the ruthlessly ambitious businesswoman Shi Qian Jin (Li Yu Tong) takes over as the new CEO of the company he headed. But after a near-death experience, she has a terrible dream where she meets a Grim Reaper-like figure who tells her to change her life for the better. Worse still, he tells her that he will come back to take her life in just 30 days, and shows her a watch that ticks in reverse, counting down the fateful 30 days. When she wakes, she finds the watch is attached to her wrist and she cannot remove it – although it is visible only to her.

As it ticks back, threatening her very existence, she makes a remarkable discovery. When she passes a store that is co-run by a pet mortician named Zhou Qing Yan (Lyu Yun Feng), the ticking stops. She tries to buy the store for a huge sum, but he refuses. However, their paths cross again later, and she realizes that it is Zhou Qing Yan’s presence – not the store itself – that has the power to stop (and even reverse) the time on the watch. She resolves to spend more time with him. When romance starts to spark, Shi Qian Jin starts to hope that her fate may not yet be sealed after all!
