Taeyong, born Lee Tae Yong, is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and dancer. He was born on July 1, 1995, in Seoul, South Korea, and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2016, as a member of the K-pop boy band, NCT. He debuted as a member of the group’s subunit NCT U in 2016, and as leader of another of the group’s subunits, NCT 127, later that year. In 2019, he debuted as a member of the K-pop supergroup, SuperM, and released his first solo single, “Long Flight”. Since his debut, he has participated in the writing of over forty songs and has appeared in a number of television reality programs, including “Welcome to NCT Universe” (2022).
