Jungwoo, born Kim Jung Woo, is a South Korean singer and dancer. He was born on February 19, 1998, in Sanbon-dong, Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2018, as a member of the K-pop boy group, NCT. After debuting with the group’s subunit, NCT U, in February, he debuted with the project unit, NCT 2018, the very next month. In October 2018, he debuted with the group’s subunit, NCT 127, but various health issues forced him to take a hiatus from the group the following year. In 2020, he resumed his activities with NCT 127 and participated in the project unit, NCT 2020, as well. Since his debut, he has made appearances in various television reality programs, including “Welcome to NCT Universe” (2022).
