Ha Young Jin

Han Pil Joo (Lee Sung Min) is an elderly man who works as a waiter in a large family restaurant. His co-workers, including a young cook named In Gyu (Nam Joo Hyuk), have no idea that he has a brain tumor that will likely kill him very shortly. He is also suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease, meaning his memory is starting to fail him. One day, In Gyu witnesses Han Pil Joo carrying out what looks like an execution. Stunned, he confronts Han Pil Joo – and learns a shocking secret…

Han Pil Joo’s family was devastated by a number of dastardly individuals during the Japanese colonization of Korea (1910-1945). He has devoted his life ever since to hatching a mission to hunt down the surviving individuals who tore his family apart – and kill them. In Gyu finds himself caught up in the mission. But with Han Pil Joo’s memory and health now starting to decline fast, he must strike now – or fail in his quest for revenge!

“Remember” is a 2022 South Korean movie that was written and directed by Lee Il Hyung.
