Detectives Myung Deuk (Jung Woo) and Dong Hyuk (Kim Dae Myeung) are struggling to make ends meet: Myung Deuk needs money for his sick daughter's hospital bills, while Dong Hyuk has racked up substantial gambling debts. They resort to taking bribes and engaging in petty corruption for extra cash, but unexpectedly stumble across a huge sum of untraceable funds in the process of being smuggled into Korea by a powerful Chinese gang. Seeing a potentially life-changing opportunity, they devise a plan to steal the money – but during the heist, an undercover detective ends up killed.
