Shao Hong Fei

Struggling with relentless criticism and declining popularity, former top idol Pei Jia (Chen Ye Sheng) has nearly hit rock bottom, but after receiving an encouraging letter from a fan, he decides to transition into acting. Upon joining a new production, Pei Jia is dismayed to learn that his co-star Su Yi (Huang Xiao), the cousin of the scriptwriter, is inexperienced and seems obsessed with fame. Throughout filming, Su Yi makes consistent efforts to get closer to Pei Jia, improving their onscreen chemistry and their offscreen relationship – and Pei Jia begins to wonder if Su Yi may know more about him than he initially let on. However, Pei Jia has a persistent shadow hanging over his shoulder, as a producer wants to keep him isolated from others. Will Pei Jia's new connection with Su Yi help him in more ways than one, or will it just be a temporary distraction from life?
