Min Kyu Dong

Cho Gak, aka Hornclaw (Lee Hye Young), has spent most of her life working as an assassin for a vigilante agency, killing lowlife underworld gangsters and other criminals on demand. Now aged 65, she no longer looks the part, and her health is failing – but she has lost none of her deadly skills. Hornclaw has become numb to killing and the loneliness of her existence. But her world is turned on its head when she meets Bullfight (Kim Sung Chul), a young up-and-coming hitman who claims he wants to work at her side. She also discovers that someone is trying to kill her. Unsure if she can trust Bullfight, she finds herself locked in a deadly struggle for survival. As tensions begin to rise, the stage is soon set for a tumultuous showdown. Will Hornclaw and Bullfight discover that those who live by the sword must also die by the sword? The Old Woman with the Knife

Herstory

In the early 1500s, the tyrannical king Yeonsan (Kim Kang Woo) is consumed with lust and vengeance as he conducts a bloody purge. Yeonsan places his trust in his seemingly loyal subject Im Sung Jae (Ju Ji Hoon), ordering him to bring hundreds of women to the palace to serve as court ladies. The women are torn from their families with scant regard to their marital status or social class, igniting the fury of both the nobility and the common folk. But Sung Jae has his own dark motives. When he meets the beautiful Dan Hee (Lim Ji Yeon), a woman with her own secret reasons for wanting to infiltrate the palace, Sung Jae hatches a devious plot. As Yeonsan descends ever deeper into insanity, will Dan Hee and Sung Jae get what they hanker for – or will the king’s madness continue to wreak havoc on the realm?
