The wedding night of Shen Chang Ning (Liu Nian), the daughter of a shipping mogul, turns to tragedy when she and her family are brutally slaughtered. Despite being left to die in a river, Chang Ning finds herself miraculously reborn, becoming a dancer named Xi Yan in the mansion of Governor Pei Yu (Yu Xuan Chen). Disfigured and left for dead in a river, Liang Yi is miraculously rescued, but must undergo intensive cosmetic surgery to disguise her true identity if she wants to re-enter society. Liang Yi adopts the identity of "Xu Yin," the kidnapped fiancée of gang leader Lin Yun (Ryan Ren), who's also one of Song Zhi Chu's close friends. However, as Liang Yi plans her revenge, she uncovers more secrets and deception that threaten both her own and Lin Yun's lives, further complicating her developing relationship with Lin Yun and forcing uncomfortable truths to come to light.
