Zhang Qi

In 1995, one year before strict laws about gun ownership swept across China, the otherwise calm border town of Mangya is hit with a sudden ambush. Upon breaking out of prison, notorious bandit leader Bei Shan (Xin Bai Qing) stormed the town in search of his buried loot, aided by dozens more outlaws who sought money and power, all armed with guns of their own. Through sheer numbers, Bei Shan and the bandits terrorize the town, but the loose faction soon begins infighting, creating an even more dangerous situation. Unfortunately for Mangya, police officer Xia Ran (Bai Ke) has only two other officers and one gun to ward off the invasion, and a looming sandstorm means that there's no way that he can call for reinforcements. Can Xia Ran find a way to ward off Bei Shan and save the town, or will it fall to the bandits?
