Dae Gil was the son of a nobleman but loved Eon Nyeon, who was a slave. To rescue Eon Nyeon from a forced marriage, Eon Nyeon\u2019s brother, Keun Nom, kills Dae Gil\u2019s parents, burns the house down, and runs away with Eon Nyeon. To find Keun Nom and Eon Nyeon, the ones who brought his household to ruins, Dae Gil becomes a famous slave hunter known for being unmerciful, money-hungry, and the best slave chaser in Joseon. Living like the noblemen, Eon Nyeon marries Song Tae Ha, the man who rescued her, but is unable to forget about Dae Gil.

In the late 19th century, escaping from feudal society, everyone starts dreaming big. Tens of stores are newly open in Namdaemun and Dongdaemun. And Bong Sam, the son of a collapsed peddler, starts from rock bottom and does everything he can to reach the top of society. The drama depicts his journey of becoming one of the wealthiest merchants in Joseon from a puller-in at a marketplace. Just like the modern days, capitalism and a free market economy prevailed at the time. Bong Sam shows how to seek a chance to earn money and maximize profits and how wicked and greedy monopolies are crushed by him.

In the middle of the 18th century in Joseon, the social class's severe contradiction and rapid change are vividly described through the main character of this story, who was born into the lowest-class family. This is a story about the hope and self-consciousness of the lowest class of people, who were evaluated only by the value of wealth without being recognized for the minimum value as a human being. In addition, it introduces the reality of the underground organization of the lowest class of people, which emerged as a serious social problem during the Manchu Invasion of Korea in 1636.

The plastic surgeon gets kidnapped by the warrior who got an order from the king to find a doctor who can cure the fatally injured queen. The two individuals who were not meant to coexist are brought together to fight their way through the ordeals on the land of Goryeo. The warrior makes a promise that he will return her to her world, but a scheming royal advisor persuades the king to force the surgeon to stay as she can be useful to him. There, the surgeon falls in love with the warrior who is the leader of the royal guard. In this era of change and chaos, love that transcends time and space blooms.

During the Joseon Dynasty when women were not expected to be smart or allowed to be educated, Kim Yoon Hee (Park Min Young) was both. 

After her father passes away and her brother becomes ill, Yoon Hee disguises herself as a boy and takes on her brother’s identity to get odd jobs and help support her struggling family. When she realizes that there is good money to be made, Yoon Hee begins to take the entrance exams in the place of other students who want to get into the prestigious Sungkyunkwan University. 

During one such test, Yoon Hee is discovered to be perpetrating the illegal activity by the morally upright Lee Sun Joon (Park Yoochun), who threatens to turn her in. 

But believing that Yoon Hee is a boy, Sun Joon encourages her to take the test herself (with her brother’s identity). Both pass the exam and get into the university and become roommates. As Yoon Hee is now enjoying the glories of getting a higher education, she befriends the playboy Goo Yong Ha (Song Joong Ki) and the rebellious Moon Jae Shin (Yoo Ah In) and starts to develop feelings for Sun Joon – all the while trying to keep her true gender a secret from her new friends and the other male students.

“Sungkyunkwan Scandal” is a 2010 South Korean drama series directed by Kim Won Suk and Hwang In Hyuk. It is based on the bestselling novel The Lives of SungKyunKwan Confucian Scholars by Jung Eon Gweol. The series won numerous drama awards, and Park Min Young and Park Yoochun received numerous Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Couple awards.

At 8-years-old, Yong witnesses his father's murder. This leads to Soe Dol adopting Yong and marks the beginning of Yong's life as a ruffian. Unlike most noble women, Eun Chae is smart and shrewd. She envisions the concept of an inn and goes into business with her father to establish Joseon's first-ever upscale inn. While doing so, she finds herself falling for Yong, who keeps himself hidden behind his black mask. Yong realizes that there is more than meets the eye regarding his father's death and decides to dig deep to investigate the matter. While searching for a special design pattern etched on the sword that took his father's life, Il Ji Mae begins his quest of taking revenge against evildoers.

There has been a prophecy throughout the Silla era that the royal blood won't have male descendants once twins are born in the royal family. When the twin daughters, Cheonmyeong and Deokman, are born, King Jinpyeong hides Deokman away from Silla and makes her live in the Taklamakan Desert in China, making it impossible for Mishil to trace her. Deokman starts to wonder about her origin and birth, so she disguises herself as a man and enters Silla. Princess Cheonmyeong believes Deokman is a man, so she has Deokman be a member of Hwarang. At Hwarang, Deokman meets Yusin, who contributes to the unification of the three countries afterward, and cooperates with him to drag Mishil down. Amidst the conflict with Mishil, Deokman's identity as a princess of Silla is revealed. When Deokman escapes to live, she meets Bidam, the son Mishil has abandoned. Deokman joins hands with Yusin and Bidam to topple Mishil. Check out if Deokman succeeds in becoming a clever leader to rebuild Silla.

The time is set in the Joseon Dynasty. This is the story of three powers: one who denies ghosts, another who tries to use the power of ghosts, and the other who wants to defeat ghosts! All human work comes from desire. A ghost would express the intense and twisted natural human desire. Sometimes the excessive passion for true love changes destiny. Through the story of youths who chase ghosts, we also feel all sorts of human emotions. Through the romance of youths, we will see that passionate and pure love can change not only personal life but also history.
