Death Note is a Japanese anime series based on the manga collection written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, between 2003 and 2006.

Composed of 37 episodes, the series was directed by Tetsurō Araki and produced by Madhouse, having been originally launched in late 2006.
