Two years ago, No Jeong Yeol (Kang Ha Neul) and Hong Na Ra (Jung So Min) were so madly in love that they decided to go against both of their family’s wishes and get married. Leaving the courthouse with a 30-day divorce settlement period, the once-happy couple now has a month to settle things between them but an unexpected car accident on the way home leaves them both with a severe case of amnesia. What should have been a very simple divorce settlement turns complicated when Jeong Yeol and Na Ra find themselves falling in love with each other all over again.

Horrified to see the young couple falling in love once more, Jeong Yeol and Na Ra’s families devise an elaborate 30-day plan to help them regain their memories and end their marriage. Will their complicated schemes work in keeping the two apart or will it only serve to bring them closer together?

She is aided in her quest by gang member Son Jae Min (Gong Myung), who helps provide her with insider information. Can Duk Hee recover her money – and break up the nefarious gang? This 2024 South Korean movie was based on a true story and was directed by Park Young Ju.

Citizen of a Kind

Yumi, an average office worker with dreams of becoming a writer, finally takes the plunge to pursue her passion. Quitting her job, she enters a writing competition, setting her brain’s myriad of cells into overdrive. “Schedule Cell” crafts the perfect writing plan, while “Writer Cell” seeks constant inspiration. Meanwhile, “Anxiety Cell” worries endlessly, and “Love Cell” struggles to recover from Yumi’s rocky relationship with Babi. Can Yumi’s cells navigate the emotional rollercoaster and help her achieve her dream? This 2024 South Korean animated film, directed by Kim Da Hee, is an adaptation of season two of the Korean live-action drama, originally based on Lee Dong Gun’s Webtoon.

Brave Citizen

Marco Han (Kang Tae Ju) is a young Korean-Filipino man who lives in the Philippines, where he looks after his infirm mother – earning a living on the side as an underground boxer. All his life, he has longed to find his father, while trying to raise the money he needs to pay for his mother’s surgery. After a violent encounter with mobsters, Marco ends up in hospital – when a lawyer who says he represents Marco’s father tells him he should travel to South Korea.

Marco agrees and boards a flight – where he meets a strange man who goes by the moniker of Nobleman (Kim Seon Ho). The latter tells Marco that he is his “friend.” This “friend” soon appears to lead Marco into a world of trouble, however. A ruthless band of gangsters begins chasing Marco, and he crosses paths with the wealthy and unscrupulous Han Yi Sa (Kim Kang Woo) and the mysterious Yoon Ju (Go Ara). Are any of these people on Marco’s side – or do they all want to see him dead?

Seven years ago, South Korea’s first manned mission to the Moon ended in disaster, when a tragic explosion wiped out the nation’s first lunar-bound spacecraft. But shortly after landing, astronaut Hwang Sun Woo (D.O) is driving a lunar rover when a strong wind sends him hurtling into unknown danger. The national space center has no choice but to turn to its former Kim Jae Guk (Sol Kung Gu), its former managing director. Kim Jae Guk was forced to leave his post after a controversial incident, and has since taken to a simple life in the mountains. Now it falls to Kim Jae Guk to help guide Hwang Sun Woo to safety, along with other experienced space chiefs such as space station director Yoon Moon Young (Kim Hae Ae). Can Hwang Sun Woo survive this ordeal – or will the ravages of space claim another victim?

Are there wedding bells in the future for these two, or is this another romance not meant to be? This 2023 Chinese film was directed by Wing Shya.

On December 12, 1979, South Korea’s president, Park Chung Hee was assassinated. Acting in direct defiance of Acting President Han Gyu (Jung Dong Hwan), Major General Chun Doo Gwang (Hwang Jung Min) and the officers who followed him, arrest General Jeong Sang Ho (Lee Sung Min), the Republic Of Korea’s Army Chief of Staff, on allegations of involvement in the late president’s murder, clearing the way for a national coup d'état.

Having never been involved in a long-term relationship, Ha Yoon (Lee Eun Bi) was hoping that her current boyfriend, Nam Tae Ryeon (Cha Hun), would be the one to change all of that. But when he announces he wants to break up with her before they even reach their 100th day, Ha Yoon refuses to accept her fate without a fight.

Determined to make this relationship last, Ha Yoon suggests a month-long “break-up grace period” in which she and Tae Ryeon are allowed to spend as much time apart as they want, without calling things off completely. Agreeing to her terms, Tae Ryeon and Ha Yoon draw up a contract in which the terms of their grace period are clearly stated. While Tae Ryeon goes about his life, Ha Yoon somehow finds herself signing an entirely different contract with her best friend and college colleague, Kang Jin.

Though certain his month away from Ha Yoon would be easy, Tae Ryeon begins to have second doubts when he realizes she’s been spending time with Kang Jin. With unexpected feelings of jealousy stirring, will Tae Ryeon be willing to let Ha Yoon go without a fight?
